NOTICE TO BIDDERS:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bid proposals are sought and requested by the Village of Horseheads for the following contract:
Maple Grove Cemetery Columbarium
Sitework & Concrete Package
FE Project 2018.098-009
Bids will be recieved by the Village until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25th, 2026. At this time the bids will be read aloud publicly in the Village Court Room at the above address. The bids can be received in hardcopy to the above address, or via electronically. Village and its representatives will compare all received bids for completeness and value.
Please take notice: Village's office hours are Tuesdy through Friday, 8 AM until 4 PM.
Proposals must be made upon and in accordance with bid documents. Plans, Specifications, and Proposal Forms may be requested on or after June 10, 2026, by emailing Village's Representative, Fagan Engineers & Land Surveyors, PC. No hard copies of the plans and specifications will be provided. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS THE BIDDER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN ALL BID DOCUMENTS (INCLUDING ADDENDA).
No pre-bid conference will take place. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site and familiarize themselves with the scope and location of the project. If required, Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions received.
The Village of Horseheads has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity organization. Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire: Upon selection, for all contracts that equal or exceed $100,000, the contractor will be required to submit to the State a Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire: Construction*For Profit. The questionnaire can be found online at http://www.osc.state.ny.us/vendrep/forms_vendor.htm
Insurance Certificates: Upon selection, all contractors and subcontractors must provide proof of Workers' Compensation and Disability Benefits Insurance Coverage for employees, or proof of exemption from the New York State Workers' Compensation Board.
