"No Knock" Stickers- An amendment to the Peddler/Solicitor Law

Effective 3/17/2026, Village residents may come into Village Hall for a "No Knock sticker" Free of charge. 

The No Knock Law,  an amendment to the Peddler/Solicitor Law, states the following: "It shall be unlawful for any person to enter upon private premises for the purpose of peddling or soliciting where there is posted, painted or otherwise affixed or displayed in plain view of a “No peddlers” or “No solicitors” or “Do not knock” sign."

 This Law DOES NOT APPLY TO : leaflets, political/religious solicitations, or youth fundraisers.
